Prairie Burning has Begun in Janesville

According to the City of Janesville, the Parks Division has started its spring prairie management burning program due to the recent mild weather. Burning operations will stop at the end of April. There are about 75 prairies that are managed by burning. The Janesville Fire Department and Rock County Communications are aware of the project, and if you have any questions you can call the Parks Division at 608-755-3025.
