Outdoor Graduation a Big Hit With High School

During the Superintendent Update segment of the WUSD School Board meeting, Cassandra Schug discussed the success of the Whitewater High School Graduation on June 6, 2021. She noted the outdoor celebration as a success. As a result, plans are already in the works for next year’s ceremony to be held outdoors. She revealed plans may include fireworks during a Friday night ceremony, but nothing has been decided. According to Schug, $1.2 Million have been awarded in total scholarships to the graduating class.
