Monroe Man Sentenced to 3 Years of Probation by Rock County Court

Monroe resident 22 year old Jasten Halvorsen was sentenced on Friday to three years of probation by the Rock County Court. This is due to charges against him that included 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct, hit and run involving injury, and reckless driving causing bodily harm. Halvorsen pleaded guilty to 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, but the other charges were ultimately dropped. He was also ordered by the court to attend an Alcohol and Other Drugs treatment program and anger management. He must maintain absolute sobriety, and is to have no alcohol or controlled substances unless prescribed by a medical provider. He also must pay the court $518.
