A Milton man is dead following a tractor rollover. The incident happened just before 1:15 on Saturday, where deputies from the Rock County Sheriff's Office responded to find a tractor rolled over and a subject pinned against a tree in a field off East CTH N in the Town of Milton. The victim was a 69 year old man on an International Harvester 640 tractor pulling a corn picker. According to the news release, the corn picker began to go over the west end of the bridge. The victim was aware of the issue and contacted family for help. While attempting to rectify the situation, the bridge gave out, causing the tractor to flip and become suspended over the bridge. After removing the tractor and picker, the man was pronounced dead on the scene and his identity is being withheld pending examination by autopsy in both Madison and the Rock County Medical Examiner.
