The Rock County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest for a 7th Offense OWI. According to a press release, authorities responded around 3:40 this morning to a single vehicle accident in the 5400 block of Cemetery Road. Deputies alerted Janesville and Beloit firefighters to a Ford sedan in the front yard of a home with heavy damage and on fire. There were two occupants in the vehicle and both were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 58-year old Jim Janisch of Janesville showed signs of impairment and was arrested for his 7th Offense OWI, as well as 7th Offense OWI Causing Injury. His court date has not yet been determined.
