Lake Mills Police Warning About Scam

Police in Lake Mills are notifying the community about a scam. The department says that contractors are pretending to solicit work on homes. These “contractors” do not have a permit with the City of Lake Mills, and up their quote after attempting to get work done. Some of the cases have seen inconsistencies in their work, and the workers are not from Wisconsin. If you think you have been scammed you are asked to call LMPD at 920-648-2354 or 911 if its an emergency.
