Lake Mills Area School District Awarded NAMM Best Communities for Music Education Recognition

According to an update from the Lake Mills Area School District, for the 5th year in a row, their music department has been awarded the NAMM Foundation’s 2022 Best Communities for Music Education recognition. To qualify for the Best Communities designation, detailed questions regarding funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program, and community music-making programs were submitted by music department staff. Responses were verified with school officials and reviewed by The Music Research Institute at the University of Kansas.
