Police in Lake Geneva are reminding residents to be cautious as students head back to school today. The department says to be mindful of extra foot traffic and to slow down in school zones. Both Lake Geneva school districts returned to classes Wednesday. And in Elkhorn, as students head back to school, the district wants to remind parents and students of their attendance policy. The district reminds that all absences must be called in to 262-741-9084 and if their is no answer, to leave a message. This includes late tardy, students home sick, coming in or leaving early, and family emergencies. You are asked to call as early as you can, however there is no guarantee that the allotment requested without proper time. Any pre-arranged absences should have a phone call the night before or morning of and leave a voicemail message.
