Jefferson Schools' Superintendent Retiring
The superintendent of the Jefferson Schools has announced he plans to retire. Mark Rollefson will end his time at superintendent at the conclusion of the current school year. This will end a 32-year career in education, of which 23 years were held at the administrative level. Rollefson has been going to schools around the district to inform each principal of his decision. He has been apart of numerous initiatives as superintendent, and has served as Wisconsin’s middle school principal of the yer while teaching 6-8th grade science. Rollefson has served as superintendent of Jefferson schools for the last 4 years.
