Jefferson County Pauses Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 Vaccines
According to a press release from the Jefferson County WI Health Department, they will not be administering the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, as recommended by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. This is due to six people out of the 6.8 million that were given the Johnson and Johnson vaccine experiencing a type of blood clot called cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. If you received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and have experienced severe headaches, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, or leg pain, contact your doctor. The full press release can be found on the Jefferson County WI Government Facebook page.
