At the Jefferson County Board meeting on Tuesday Night, executive committee chair Amy Rinard discussed rule changes for the county board effective 2022-2024. This was a first reading, and some of the rule changes provide clearer policies for remote attendance at county board or committee meetings, and for dealing with conflicts of interest. Additionally, Rinard discussed that the new rules would abolish the position of committee clerks due to lack of necessity.
