Jeff Jacoby Retiring from Janesville Police Department

According to an update from the City of Janesville, today Identification Officer Jeff Jacoby will be retiring from the Janesville Police Department after 30 years of service within the city. Jacoby started at the Janesville Police Department in 1991. Throughout his time in the department he held a variety of assignments including Patrol Officer, Bike Officer, and DARE Officer. Additionally, he was a School Resource Officer at Franklin Middle School for 10 years. It was in 2007 that he came to his current role in the Investigations Bureau. He has processed evidence in assaults, armed robberies, traffic fatalities, arsons, burglaries, and homicides.
