Janesville Woman Sentenced to Probation

Nicole Perez was sentenced on Tuesday after she bit off a piece of a man’s ear at a party in Janesville last June. Perez was drinking and got into a verbal argument, she later jumped the victim from behind with an accomplice and bit about one third of his ear off, the piece could not be re-attached. She plead guilty to aggravated battery and no contest to disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. Perez was sentenced to 2 years probation and if she completes probation successfully the felony charge can be dismissed, if not she can be sentenced on the battery charge with a possible prison sentence. Perez’s accomplice plead guilty to party to a misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to on year of probation.
