Janesville Resident Put on Six Years of Probation for Possession of Child Pornography

Janesville resident 20 year old Christian Thomas Cheatle pleaded guilty yesterday to two counts of possession of child pornography, after an incident that occurred in July 2020. Cheatle received a withheld sentence of 6 years of probation, and also 15 years on the sex offender registry on each count. He must complete any assessments and recommended treatment that the Department of Corrections deems necessary, including sex offender treatment.
