Janesville Police Investigating Suspicious Person

Janesville Police are investigating a suspicious person. According to the news release, the incident happened on Monday around 1:45 PM in the 1400 block of S Washington Avenue. That’s where police say that a young girl riding a bike was approached by an individual in a white Chevy equinox SUV, and told the girl to “get in my van”. The girl was able to leave the area and make it back home without harm being done. The vehicle was captured on an exterior camera and appears to be a 2014-2017 Chevy equinox, white in color. The suspect is described as a white male, between 30-40 years of age, with a bald head with brown hair on sides short, and a brownish/blue shirt.
