Janesville Police are investigating after shots were fired in the city on Thursday. The incident occurred around 3 PM in the area of N Lexington Drive and Newman Street. People near the incident reported two shots and a vehicle speeding from the area. Officers located a single shell casing on Lexington Drive, but there does not appear to be any injuries. A Sky Blue sedan, similar to a Chevy Malibu, was seen in the area accelerating northbound on Lexington and is a vehicle of interest in the case.
