Janesville Police Conclude Investigation Into Racist Meme

According to an update from the Janesville Police Department, they have concluded their investigation into the racist meme that was originally reported on November 3. A student in the Milton school district made a post that compares local student athletes on a football field with racist and violent historical imagery. The act was committed in Janesville. As a result of the investigation, the 15 year old creator of the image has been referred to the Rock County District Attorney’s Office on a charge of unlawful use of computerized communications systems.
