Janesville Man Arrested for Shooting Two with Bow
Janesville Police have charged a man with recklessly endangering the safety of others. In a press release early Monday morning, officials say that they were dispatched to Mercyhealth in Janesville for a report of two individuals shot with a bow . The victims told officials this was as a result of a disturbance in the 700 block of Walker Street. The suspect left the scene, returning to a residence in the 600 block of Eisenhower Avenue. After a brief standoff-style situation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Both victims remain at Mercyhealth in Janesville seeking medical treatment, while the victim was treated at a separate health facility and is currently being held at the Rock County Jail. Janesville Police ensure that there is no threat to the public.
