Janesville Man Arrested For OWI

A Janesville man was arrested on OWI charges. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 48-year-old Paul Olsen of Janesville was arrested just after 1:45 AM on New Year’s Day for his 4th offense OWI. Troopers say the arrest was as a result of a lane deviation related traffic stop and says Olsen nearly struck oncoming traffic along Highway 11. He was booked into the Rock County Jail after a blood draw, and is charged with 4th offense OWI, deviation from designated lane, improper stop at a stop sign, and possession of a controlled substance. Olsen was one of 47 impaired drivers arrested statewide during the long weekend.
