Janesville Compost and Demolition Landfill to Open

According to an update from the City of Janesville, the Compost and Demolition Landfill facilities will open for the year on Monday, March 21. Facilities will be open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday, the facilities are open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Grass, leaves, and garden debris may be deposited at the compost facility at no charge to City of Janesville residents who bring an ID for verification. A nominal fee applies to items that must be deposited into the demolition facility, including brush, branches, shrubs, trees, stumps, and approved concrete debris.
