Janesville City Council Approves Grant Application to U.S. Department of Commerce

At the Monday evening Janesville City Council meeting, the council approved a grant application to the U.S. Department of Commerce - Economic Development Administration for funding assistance to construct the Woodman’s Community Center; Janesville’s Athletic and Conference Center. If fully approved, the City would receive $7.5 million to support the project and would be required to match 20% of the project application budget.
