According to an update from the Lake Geneva Police Department, on May 29 at about 11:55 p.m. an officer checked on a vehicle occupied by several people sitting in their vehicle for a period of time in the municipal lot at Cook St. In speaking with the subjects, a distinct odor of marijuana was emanating from inside the vehicle. As the occupants exited the vehicle, and items of contraband were located and later tested positive for cocaine, amphetamines, and marijuana. Charges are being referred to the DA’s office on 22 year old Cesar Guzman from Woodstock, Illinois, on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of THC, possession of illegally obtained prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
