GoFundMe Started For Family of Rome Fire Chief Killed In House Explosion

We are learning more information about the Jefferson County house explosion earlier this week. A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family, and the identity of the man killed has been identified as Mike Revolinski. His wife was not home at the time of the blast, according to multiple sources. Revolinski was a much beloved former fire chief in Rome. The department returned to service yesterday afternoon with their flag at half mast. Many local departments helped out in their district while they were out of service. More information is posted to the Rome Volunteer Fire Department on Facebook, including a link to the GoFundMe. The GoFundMe has raised almost $23,000 and has a goal of $30,000.
