According to the Fort Atkinson Police Department, on Friday at about 3:30 p.m. they responded to a car vs. pole accident on Jackson St. The driver was a 42 year old woman from Fort Atkinson, who was ultimately arrested for 1st offense OWI, 1st offense PAC, and texting while driving. A tow truck removed the vehicle, and the pole that was struck was replaced.
