Fort Atkinson School Board to Vote on Addition of Baking, Pastries, and Chocolatiering Course

Last night at the School District of Fort Atkinson board meeting, they discussed the possibility of adding a Baking, Pastries, and Chocolatiering course at the high school. This class would be for students in grades 10-12, and students would learn the principles and science involved in baking as well as a wide variety of baking techniques. Additionally, there is a severe shortage of trained bakers and chocolatiers in the industry. This class would help meet that demand. The class has not yet been officially approved for upcoming school years, and the school board will officially vote on its addition at their meeting in December.
