Fort Atkinson Rallies For Community Members Affected By Fire

After a difficult weekend, the Fort Atkinson community is rallying together to support both the family who lost two children in a fire, and the firefighters who responded. The Fort Atkinson Fire Department is thanking the community for reaching out after the fire. A GoFundMe has been set up for the family, and it has exceeded its $45,000 goal as of Tuesday morning. Additionally, the fire department is thanking the community for reaching out to firefighters that were at the scene. The department says that residents have dropped off food. The fire chief says on Facebook they cannot recall a community outreach as expansive.
