Fire In Johnson Creek Causes Major Damage, No Injuries

Firefighters in Johnson Creek responded to a major fire that caused thousands of dollars in damage. According to the Johnson Creek Fire and EMS, the fire occurred on Wednesday. Around 9:10 PM, firefighters responded to the 100 block of Parkview Drive for an attached garage fire. Firefighters found the garage fully engulfed in flames, and the first arriving firefighters began putting water on the fire. After the fire was under control, firefighters entered the residence to check on any possible spread to the home. A Mutual Aid Box Alarm was struck, bringing area departments to the scene, with Watertown, Lake Mills, Jefferson and Fort Atkinson among the eight departments that assisted.
