Fire Destroys Watertown Barn

A Tuesday morning barn fire destroyed the building and caused nearly a quarter million dollars in damage. The fire occurred at N8350 High Road in Watertown and was reported shortly after 8 AM. Firefighters from across Jefferson County responded to the scene, and on arrival reports say the barn was fully involved in fire. No injuries were reported, and no animals were in the structure at the time of the fire. A cause is still unknown. 7 fire departments and Jefferson County EMS units assisted Watertown in fighting the blaze.
