According to Beloit Daily News, the Police and Fire Commission is selecting its finalists for the new chief of the Beloit Police Department. Thirty-five people have applied for the position since they began looking in September, and it will soon be narrowed down to six candidates who will undergo in-depth screenings and observations around March 5.
