Evers Approves US12 Improvements

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Governor Tony Evers has signed a $7.2 million contract to allow improvements to US 12 in Walworth County. Multiple bridges will be improved, including US12 between WIS 50 in Lake Geneva and County H in Genoa City. Construction will begin on Monday, April 26 and will consist of paving, girder painting, concrete repairs, bridge re-decking and structure overlays. US12 will see improvements at WIS 50, as well as at Townline Road, Bloomfield Road, Clover Road, Pell Lake Drive, County U, Nippersink Creek and County B. US12 will remain open for the construction, which should last the remainder of the year, permitting on weather and construction progress.
