Emergency Shelter Opens In Rock County

Rock County’s emergency warming shelter will remain open through Friday. According to WKOW, the shelter, which is specifically for low temperatures, will remain open through the morning hours on Friday. People in need of shelter can contact 608-757-5025. There are also shelters at libraries in Beloit, Clinton and Edgerton, village and city halls in Orfordville and Brodhead, Brodhead PD, while in Janesville, there are daytime warming locations at the Hedberg Library and Uptown Janesville, with overnight warming locations at GIFTS and at the House of Mercy Homeless Center.
