Elkhorn Teen Sentenced to Jail and Probation

An Elkhorn teen can have his felony charges expunged a walworth county judge ruled. Zachary Dornbusch was sentenced to four years probation as part of an agreement in connection with stealing items collected to help the homeless and other thefts he committed. He will be eligible for expungement on his felony charges if he successfully completes his probation without violations, completes 240 hours of community service and pays back the money he owes. Dornbusch plead guilty to possessing burglarious tools and will also serve 90 days in jail without work release. Dornbusch was connected to the 2018 theft of items from the Lions Club’s area at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, he had until March 8th to report for his jail sentence.
