City of Whitewater Repeals Mask Ordinance

At Tuesday night’s Whitewater Common Council Meeting, City Manager Cameron Clapper voiced his opinion that the mask ordinance within the city should be repealed. All board members were in agreement, and Whitewater’s mask ordinance was repealed. Additionally, it was decided that future meetings of the council will have a hybrid model beginning on June 1. The hybrid model allows residents to still be able to tune in on their devices rather than physically attend the in person meeting if they so choose.
