City of Whitewater Police Department Meets Standards set by U.S. Department of Justice

According to a press release from the City of Whitewater Police Department, they have met the standards set by the U.S. Department of Justice for use of force, and will be able to receive grants for the next three years. In order to become certified, the department had to prove that their use of force policies are in alliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
