City of Janesville Credit Card Vendor to Change

At this week’s Janesville City Council meeting, City Manager Mark Frietag noted that the City’s Credit Card payment vendor is changing to increase payment capability. The new vendor accepts Discover, Mastercard, and Visa payments. A convenience fee of 2.5% (and a $1.95 minimum) is applied in person and online. The vendor change has been implemented at the Clerk Treasurer's Office, building services, police department, transit system, and the landfill for in person payments. The target date for the online conversion to the new system is October 17.
