Last week at the Fort Atkinson City Council meeting, they approved a request from Parks and Recreation to apply rain-activated paint to various locations downtown. This is to encourage residents to get downtown and support local businesses, even on rainy days. The rain-activated paint is a superhydrophobic coating that keeps surfaces from getting wet, and will be applied outside in fun shapes and designs. The longevity of the paint is between 2-6 months, depending on application thickness. To watch the full Fort Atkinson City Council meeting, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzSJN1M7YJI.
