The City of Burlington will discuss the Destination Marketing Grant they received in 2020 through the Department of Tourism tonight. The grant will allow for a 3-year cycle for the City to refine its vision for rebranding. Marketing is defined in year 2 and in year 3 the rebrand would be implemented. The Common Council approved a contract with GrahamSpencer to conduct thorough research and prepare strategic recommendations to effectively rebrand the City of Burlington. GrahamSpencer would also work to outline community perception, communication issues, and opportunities with the ultimate goal of defining audience.
