City of Beloit Removes Social Distancing Requirements
The City of Beloit announced last night that they would be removing their social distancing restrictions and mask mandate. The press release states that the city is following CDC recommendations that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks. Individuals remain highly encouraged to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Face covering remain required inside city-owned facilities, and some businesses can continue to enforce mask rules. City-sponsored events may also still enforce mask requirements. The City will inform the community when those updates are made. The city says that they have made significant progress, and individuals are asked to continue to follow CDC and Rock County Health requirements.
