City of Beloit Fire Dept. Warning Residents About Candles

The City of Beloit Fire Department is asking the community to be mindful of candle burning this holiday season. The department says the three biggest days for home candle fires are Christmas, New Year’s Day and New Year’s Eve. It is recommended to not leave candles unattended, or to even consider using battery operated candles, which are also flameless.
