Central City Watertown Snow Emergency Continues

The City of Watertown is scaling back its snow emergency to the city center area only. In a press release this morning, the city says the Central City Snow Removal Area will remain under a snow emergency until 11 PM tonight. That’s where snow removal operations will continue into the evening. Residents in the Central City area are encouraged to park in municipal lots. Parking on city streets is banned in this area from 11 PM to 7 AM Thursday. Citations in excess of $50.00 could be possible for violations of this order. Any vehicle that has been ticketed and remains in the same location for more than 24 hours is subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
