Cause Of Fatal Fort Atkinson Fire Still Undetermined

The cause of a January 23rd fire that killed two boys in Fort Atkinson remains undetermined. The Daily Union reports that the State Fire Marshal’s Office in Madison can confirm the cause of the blaze as undetermined, but that reports regarding the case are still ongoing. 14-year old Bryan Palacios and his nephew Ethan were killed in the blaze, that occurred just before 3:30 AM on January 23 in the 400 block of Milo Street. Palacios went inside the burning home to save his nephew who was trapped inside. Numerous agencies responded to the scene.
