Car Crashes Through Chinese Restaurant In Delavan City

It was quite a commotion in the Delavan shopping center Sunday night when a car crashed through the entrance of a chinese restaurant. WSLD was the only outlet on the scene and spoke exclusively with fire chief Tim O’Neill. The fire chief told us that two people were in the vehicle when it plowed through the front of the China 1 Restaurant just before 9 PM. There were no serious injuries and the vehicle was removed around an hour later. The restaurant suffered significant damage and was boarded up as of Monday. Chief O’Neill said no charges would be filed.
