Burn Ban in Fontana

According to a post from the Fontana Fire Department, they have issued a burn ban for the Village of Fontana effective immediately and until further notice. The cause for the ban includes severe dry conditions, red flag warning by the State of Wisconsin, and forecasts for warm, windy conditions with little to no anticipated imminent prolonged rainfall. During the ban, open burning, all forms of outside burning, campfires, recreational fires, most private fireworks displays, and grilling on public properties is prohibited. The ban will be lifted by the fire department when climate conditions improve.
