Burlington Bus Fire Cause Revealed

An update to a story that broke yesterday. Six buses caught on fire in yesterday’s fire at Thomas Bus Service that canceled school. Multiple sources are reporting that the damage costs are estimated at $525,000. It was around 4 AM yesterday when a sheriff’s deputy noticed smoke coming from the facility, and later reported multiple buses on fire. School will resume as normal in Burlington today, with group B students in grades 7-12 in-person, and group A students virtually. The fire is not suspicious, and the cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature.
