Burlington Area School District Fills Data and System Analyst Position

According to an update from the Burlington Area School District, the newly created position of Data and Systems Analyst has been filled. The school board approved the appointment of Connie De Smidt to the position at their December 13 meeting. In this position, De Smidt will coordinate the use of data to support learning outcomes and ensure that the district’s data is accurately reflected. This position has been under consideration by the school board since this summer. The update from the district also states that school districts across Wisconsin have seen an increase in the number of items which need to be reported to the Department of Public Instruction and other educational institutions, and this position will address those needs within the Burlington Area School District.
