Burglaries Under Investigation In Jefferson County

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, three Jefferson County residents have reported being the victim of daytime residential burglaries since April until this past weekend. The residents were home for all of the burglaries, and the suspect reportedly would pose as a utility worker and tell the victims that work needed to be done on their homes. Victims have described the suspect or suspects as somewhere between 5’9 and 6’ tall, with dark hair, acne scars on their face, and possibly a Hispanic accent. The suspected vehicle is a white, newer Chevy pickup with multiple tool boxes and unknown license plates. The suspect appeared to have knowledge of property lines and told the victims there would be a possibility of power outages which would cause them to exit their homes. The incidents happened in Concord, Town of Jefferson, and Ixonia. Residents are asked to be cautious and on alert for any similarities if someone were to visit your home. Residents should ask to see a photo ID to prove they are there for construction purposes. Call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 920-674-7310 if you suspect any strange activity, or if you have any information on these burglaries.
