BTC Selected As Community Vaccination Clinic

Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville has been selected as the first community vaccination clinic in Wisconsin. Governor Tony Evers made the announcement yesterday. The site will open on Tuesday and will administer 250 shots per day with the ability to increase that to 1000 shots a day depending on vaccine availability and supply. BTC is the first of 6 to 10 planned community vaccination clinics in Wisconsin, and BTC was selected based on its own vaccination efforts, as well as its geographic location in terms of those who would not otherwise have access to vaccines, and the priority is to help those in underserved communities. The clinic will remain open for anyone, however. The shots are appointment only.
