Brodhead Woman and Juvenile Sustain Injuries in Vehicle Crash
According to an update from the Green County Sheriff's Office, yesterday at about 4:35 p.m. they along with the Brodhead Fire Department and Green County EMS, responded to the W1000 block of State Highway 11 in the Town of Spring Grove for a two vehicle crash with injury. The investigation revealed that 37 year old Brodhead resident Amanda L. Seichter was driving westbound and came to a stop in the roadway waiting to turn south into a driveway. While waiting for eastbound traffic to clear, she was struck from behind by another westbound operator, 19 year old Toby L. Hosch from Juda. Both Seichter and her juvenile passenger were transported by Green County EMS with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. Both occupants reported wearing their seatbelts and there was no airbag deployment. Hosch was not injured in the crash and reported wearing his seatbelt. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and also had no airbag deployment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Hosch received a citation for Inattentive Driving.
