Beloit Woman Killed In Easter Crash

Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Easter Sunday in Rock County. According to a press release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, around 2:40 Sunday afternoon, officials responded to a single vehicle accident near Highway 81 and South County H. A single vehicle with a single occupant was involved. Investigators say the vehicle entered the opposite lane of traffic due to speed, rolled, and hit a tree. A 34-year old female from Beloit was determined as the driver and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Both Beloit fire departments, and the Orfordville Fire Departments responded with the Rock County Sheriff's Office to the call.
