Beloit Woman Facing Child Abuse Charge

Beloit resident 34 year old Dominique Cherrelle Burnett is facing charges including child abuse/intentionally causing harm and felony bail jumping after an incident that occurred on February 3. On February 4 a bond of $1 thousand was set, and she is not to have contact with the involved victim, their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere unless approved by child protective services. She must also maintain absolute sobriety. The court ordered level 3 supervision through JusticePoint. Burnett has an upcoming court appearance on February 15 at 9:15 a.m.
